@ShawnKing One of the things I still love about SF. $9 cocktails are a steal in NYC and a ripoff in SF :)
@ShawnKing Let me guess, the password is "$9 cocktails" ?
I thought Benjamin Button kicked ass, but would have enjoyed it even more if I wasn't counting the minutes during the last half. (@7_7 )
@jsnell I imagine a lot of people pronounce it like ... you know ... the word "guard."
Haha! Somehow we got the impression that Benjamin Button was 1:30. Which made for some furious babysitter phoning during the extra 1:15.
@andypotion My experience with MarsEdit printing was that almost nobody cares about it, but I was still embarrassed to have it missing.
@CoryOBrien Their coverage tends to make me, a vegetarian, less and less sympathetic to them. But if it works for them, you're right.
I wish some intelligent, pro-vegetarian group would take the place of ridiculous PETA. Getting worse and worse. http://snipr.com/9q9i9
@vjl Thanks, I found and update the link to their current source drop.
@chartier Sidebar is generic, a source list is specifically what the applications you alluded to are presenting in their "sidebar".
Microsoft's Songsmith stuff is really cool. The promo video is shockingly cheezy, but ... there be some cool tech in them thar codez.
@paulkent Please consider following TED's glorious footsteps and making audio podcast editions of these Pulse speeches available.
@GlennF Not bgapp. You can start it and then quit it, I found out. But you always have to start it. After logging in unless you get hackish.
(And by the way, the two affected users were using "txt" and "twitterrific", so I highly doubt a specific client/user problem).
Confirmed with at least two users that they had "d" messages turned to public messages within the last day. No mean gossip in "d" messages!
@buzz Yeah, but it's better than going on oblivious to the contradictory opinion :) Sucks to break a tie, though.
@petermaurer These in particular were not turned to replies. They seem to be "d" messages that were stripped of their d-ness.
@amrox Thanks, that's good to know. Slightly less irritating. Annoying that it's not "always on" though, e.g. for remote reboots.
Disappointed by NewerTech 802.11ln adaptor for my G5. I didn't expect that to "be online" I'd have to run a custom app and keep it running.
