While refinishing the hardwood floors, he puzzled over an oddly shaped stain, then realized it was from some putz working on an auto tranny.
Back from dinner/drinks with friends, whose former house we now occupy. He's a handy sort, and left us with a very nice place indeed.
@cyclelicious I like my little Eee PC, but it is tough to type on, and being a 20-year Mac user, the Linux thing can be a bit confusing.
@Interbike The lads are trying to nail this one down, but it's difficult. Shorthanded, and If people don't wanna talk, you can't make 'em.
@Interbike Mr. Ball is being uncharacteristically quiet, no? Vow of silence? Laryngitis? Shoe stuck in his throat?
Bush league: Obama must be starting to feel like Flounder when Otter pelted him with groceries during a Food King run in "Animal House."

Trying to work up the fortitude to pound ground for a frosty hour before a dental appointment. I'm not exactly a lion in winter.
@carltonreid 'Merkin accent? I dunno whatchoo tawkin' 'bout, buddeh.

I'm cooking a pot roast: 4.5 lbs. of boneless chuck, braising in onions, garlic, roasted tomatoes, red-wine vinegar, water & brown sugar.
Fun 30-degree, 40-minute jog to Monument Valley Park and back, locating all the filthy terrorist cells of black ice for future reference.
