It's time for the ritual watching of "Christmas Vacation"
@dunster Pretty funny -- I didn't think anyone read the newspaper any more.
@myoung If the stars align, I should be able to have a private alpha in a week or so :-)
Woo Hoo! My front-end application is now as v0.6ish as the back-end. Cleanup tomorrow, then Let's see if I can get this puppy deployed.
@stealthbaz I'm a jquery man (for the moment). Get this thing up and running, then I can figure out how to do it better (or hire someone).
Having fun seeing how badly the different browsers choke on my crappy JavaScript.
Forget the Hadron Collider. The world should fear the black hole caused by my infinite sucking at JavaScript.
The baby is unhappy about being woken up. She's a little tired after spending most of the night screaming. Takes a lot out of you. Grr.
Another feed I like just went from full-feed to partial-text. Annoying your fans and killing your SEO is not smart.
Pretty fun planning the future. I have a slide where I lay out how this can be a multi-billion dollar business. With a non-zero probability.
Hitting a lot of popups recently. Need to get back to the line drives.
Ok, so my little product actually kinda works now. Must stop playing with it and go back to improving it.
Note to self: OSX gets real cranky if you accidently create 2.4 million small text files.
svn:000410. Making good progress.
Ok, I have jQuery installed and doing something useful. Only a few hours of making idiotic mistakes.
Also, apparently, my suckage at copy-editing my tweets.
My suckage at javascript know no bounds.
Arggh. Breakthrough idea hits at 4:35 on Friday afternoon. Can I prototype in 20 minutes before I have to go do pickup at daycare?
I just grepped my development log for [goshdarn] annoying. 15 hits. Apparently I find large parts of my application [goshdarn] annoying.
