@KG4ZXK congrats. I know I find my iPhone very handy.
I like the Boston Bruins new third jersey - http://bruins.nhl.com
@kg4peq well knock on wood so far so good on the Acer for me. I would do it again.
@kg4peq THe eeepc and aspireone has a bunch of people modding their netbooks. That was another attraction.
@kg4peq I liked the Acer because: A) Was able to get at local 24 hour WalMart on a late night impulse - B) Many people seem to "hack" it
@kg4peq I love it. It will be replaceing an old Pentium 4 as the "ham radio" PC
after playing with my Acer Aspire One a lot recently, my 13" MacBook seems HUGE
taking a break from cleaning out the shack. the plastic bins the XYL got me are doing the trick nicely. almost organized
@K7AGE U have been using this is my main referece for now: http://bit.ly/6lry
@innismir lol. GOtta be able able to do digital modes too! :-)
@K7AGE However if I am gonna open the unit, I wanna upgrade as much as possible. I would like to only have to open the unit once.
@K7AGE I have seen the videos as well. I agree, the main reason why I want to upgrade is the increased RAM.
@K7AGE soon I am gonna open mine and upgrade the RAM, add bluetooth, larger hard drive, etc. it is a fun little machine
@K7AGE nice. I hooked up Ham Radio Deluxe with my microHAM usb interface ii. everything appears to be in working order
Got my main radio apps working on my Acer Aspire One in Windows. Need to get the Linux side of the netbook working soon.
