@hkarthik I don't think he tried JRuby because he needed something he could embed into a C app. JRuby works fine and does avoid many leaks. |
@diathesis It was a Java conference poll, and Groovy and Scala are obviously closer to Java syntax. We're going to Java confs more soon. |

@daveshemenski You certainly could. You could also just instantiate multiple org.jruby.Ruby instances and use them across threads. No prob. |

@grantmichaels If you get a lock-up again, try Ctrl+\ (*nixes), Ctrl+Break (Windows), or send sigquit to the process to get a thread dump. |

@kevintyll Well, the multi-threading doesn't help Passenger as much as JRuby you know. We only need a single process, ever. |
@grantmichaels The scan issue is resolved on trunk and 1.1.6RC2..it will be in 1.1.6 final next week, or you can grab nightlies. |
