1/4 inch ice this morning in Chicago. Good times.
Mac OS X latest: primary mouse button stops working randomly. I swap primary button to the right mouse button and it still doesn't work.Ack
@smith_drew It's so weird to live in Chicago after Boston. Here people talk about the White Sox as "Sox" and I just can't accept that.
Is there a good scanner for bills+receipts for the mac? I have a single-page HP scanner/printer that takes way too long to be practical.
The 'This American Life' podcast has been quite good so far (only a few episodes though).
I'm glad I'm not the only one obsessively putting two spaces after every period even though it's no longer necessary with today's fonts.
I like Jungle Disk.

Good iPhone apps: AirSharing,BattleAtSea,BeeCells,Bejeweled2, BJRunLite,Bloomberg&NYTimes,Scrabble,Spore,Cro-Mag,Galcon,CrashBND,DiaTwister.
At this point the stock market has become more entertaining than most prime time shows.
YUI (the Yahoo JS toolkit) is not good at all compared to jQuery or Prototype.
for kids: try Vitaminsforyou, "The Jellybean Song". Ours love it.
Solution to splitting podcasts to grab individual chapters easily: Sound Studio. But it's $70 so I'm hoarding the 10 trial launches. 7 left
@emerick buy a HDD from Costco, return it any time you're unhappy (no time limit at all)
I'd love to see a VCS that worked like Time Machine, with branching and diffs.
Akamai uses Perforce so I was forced to endure it for a year. It and ClearCase have a special place in my heart reserved for pure hatred
