@abalone can't claim the credit -- saw it on a nifty igoogle gadget called Things to Ponder - made my head go boink! :o)
wondering ... why does slow down and slow up mean the same thing? :o)
@slls01 wow, this is excellent RT for iPhone users...some really useful tips and tricks: http://www.taptaptap.com/blog/
@cmiddlebrook GREAT idea-RT t-shirts with backwards written affirmations so you see them in the mirror! http://www.reflectmylife.com/
@brainsturbator I see them as waves but can see the hierarchy too ... bigger, better, faster is certainly the American way
@brainsturbator hmm, was thinking about the nomadic, agrarian, industrial, digital waves. We seem to have all in conflict in the world
@brainsturbator not the intention-just noticing interesting perspective on circumstances. reminds me of Tofflers waves of civilization
...Those without the tools and time on the web to participate and create are the have-nots." Peter de Jager, E-Learning Conf, Boston 07
"It used be the digital divide. Those without computers were the have-nots. Now it is the participation divide.
Wishing 4 a quiet weekend, Seattle, long walks in misty rain, hot tea, Elliott Bay bookstore, Pike's market, seafood, glass of wine :o)
@davidbadash Ditto here on Obama & approach. "Optimistically visionary" yes - Far better than pessimistically short-sighted :o)
@davidbadash Friedman, agree, do as little as possible 4 short term solution - this is 1 of many inter-related long term issues, argh!
@davidbadash collosal mistake? Feels like the price of free enterprise just went up, again - is there really no other way to fix the mess?
@zeporia Congrats Dr. Boyd! -- been following your work for awhile - nice to celebrate this moment with you, via Twitter no less! :o)
@AaronMSB sent a note to @RichWhite, excellent developer if he has time and there's a fit, did you connect?
@RichWhite Would u be interested in creating a widget with @AaronMSB? Know anyone who might? http://featurism.blogspot.com
@dianefischler thx for the beautiful libraries - stunning, unique, glorious architecture http://curiousexpeditions.o...
@ken_homer Ah, the "trap of best practices" - well said!! There's a blog post in that line!!
@ken_homer definitely - I think of it as learning frm other disciplines, eg prevention learning from technology-too easy 2 get lost n a silo
@ken_homer isn't that mechanistic thinking at its best? Study the relationships between the parts perhaps?
