Proud of the kid's performance as the Sheriff of Nottingham in KidsActing's "Robin Hood". He gave the performance an 8.5.
Business meeting nonsense word of the day: concenced -- something about which consensus has been reached
@toniek We were just talking about you & voice work last night! Alex (who's doing great in theater) said he'd be interested in voice acting
@mollyblock Kreuz first (by a wide margin), then Smitty's, then Black's.
@brianstelter I found one other to consider: lawrence.com. Entertainment-oriented, but definitely twitter-style powered and aggregated.
@brianstelter Jeff Croft's blog is built like you describe: a big post at the top; twitter-powered updates below. http://www.jeffcroft.com
@dhiott That story is funny and a little sad (for her) all at the same time.
@statesman Typo on statesman.com home page; should be "chooses" -- Obama choses Hillary Clinton for Sec. of State
Even though you knew it was coming, it doesn't make it any easier to take: Texas drops to No. 3 in BCS.
@sszd Outliers is on my Christmas list. Looking forward to getting ahold of it.
@jowyang Did you mean Boise State? Their football field, right?
@bklein34 I saw the Twitter reference in the previews before "Quantum of Solace". A friend saw the same commercial on TV last night.

@kimhaynes subtract 1 from that 16.8 million number. I bailed on the 24 special after first 30 minutes. Never grabbed me. And I love 24!
Went to set of 10-minute plays by UT's Directing Young Performers class. My kid rocked it as Satan in "Snack Time". Every cast did great!
If you had told me that I'd see Conor Oberst play twice this year, and they'd be two of the best shows of 2008, I'd have said you were crazy
@ttrentham You're not the only one. I'm still on the lookout for any sign of the new recycling bins.
Will Smith and Tony Romo drop in on Dallas high school pep rally http://is.gd/8bnE
New Springsteen album on Jan. 15. Heard part of title track "Working on a Dream" at halftime of last night's Cowboys game and wasn't amazed.
Mindy Kaling (Kelly Kapoor on The Office) has resumed her terrific "Things I Bought That I Love" blog! http://is.gd/7RbI
