WTF--the Rankin-Bass Christmas specials and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" aren't on this week? Did we miss them?
Miranda's 1st day of Hanukkah loot: new clothes and shoes, a Peter Yarrow folk song book/CD, and a color/letter-keyed toy piano.
Heading out to check out Dickens Fair.
@dcurtisj Someone pointed out that Hanukkah is actually relevant now: miracles involving oil lasting 8 days don't seem so lame now, do they.
Amazingly, had no traditional Xmas music. Bought a bunch of mp3s from Amazon. "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is still excellent.
Finally getting around to organizing my "every miscellaneous file about Thermo" folder.
Miranda says she remembers thinking right after she was born that Mommy's voice was strange, b/c it was lower when she heard it in the womb.
@skuwamoto I guess "exponentially better" actually means "hyperbole-ically better".
Note*spark, a great little iPhone app written by my friends Sho Kuwamoto & Mike Schiff, is now live on the App Store: http://notespark.com/
@theadequate OMG I had totally forgotten about that. I wonder if I still have any of those tapes of us messing around on piano/synth.
Cool--Sky TV in the UK took Snackr, added a search box and repackaged it as a free download from their site: http://is.gd/cmlA
@gnat Wow. It's like the "in bed" of liberal yuppies!
Oh. Actually, a lot of the beta signups are probably because ReadWriteWeb posted about it. http://snurl.com/8u6x0
Posting about beta to twitter/FB/blog: 8 signups. Mailing about it to everyone who's mailed me about snackr: 80 signups. Direct mail FTW!
One of my dreams is now available in paper form on page 243 of this book: http://is.gd/cfS3 (or direct from the author: http://is.gd/cfSn)
Running out the clock on this week.
@fredfred It sounds more like a "worm hovel".
@skuwamoto Awesome! Will have to go grab it when I get home.
@ddura Warm globally, chill locally.
