We'll be discussing the Forrester blog trust report on BlogTalkRadio at 2 eastern, 30 mins from now. http://www.blogtalkradio.co...
Just landed in a snowstorm in Milwaukee. The things I do for clients!
@timmylevad Thanks for the plug.
@tomjd I love all three books, actually.
@tomjd We explicitly created Groundswell for general business people who needed convincing on social media.
@tomjd I'm biased, of course, but I think Tribes is more abstract, Here Comes Everybody more academic, Groundswell best for business folks.
@M_Barger Audio version of Groundswell is out. Download from Audible.com, get the boxed CD set from Amazon, or pick the cds up at b&n.
@Wendels Groundswell appears to be in stock at Amazon and B&N.
@Wendelsns Groundswell appears to be in stock at Amazon and B&N. I will check with publisher.
@DerekShowerman Bookstore marketing is Harvard Business Press' responsibility, they focus mostly on the big chains.
Groundswell was #3 on Ad Age's "Books You Should Have Read in 2008". It's not too late ;-) http://tinyurl.com/6pkh6l
@thatinstant Yes, we work at Forrester, but tried to put real value into Groundswell. 55,000 copies later, you are the first to complain.
@tomcummings Blending fuzzy ducks would be cruel, shame on you! And besides, blenders choke on cloth.
Just finished workshop w AFLAC. Thank you gift: 3 fuzzee ducks. Sweet!
@peterkim OK, what's your recommendation, then?
@shwen Why don't you get together with @peterkim ("I want to believe") and split the difference?
@peterkim Yeah. Of course my blog isn't really a "corporate" blog, and you all trust me, don't you ;-)
@cbasturea Around 80% didn't pick "don't use this form of information" for blogs, indicating that they read them at least sometimes.
@jmelesky I think the main point is: writing in a blog does not give you some magical credibiilty, you need to earn it.
