from eye-witness accounts, he bailed at *extremely* low altitude (200-300ft AGL). Sad....and it sounds like everyone did all they could |
Probably wasn't getting full thrust from second engine, double bangs everyone heard was pilot trying restart engine while fighting x-winds |
BTW, now 3 dead- 1 Missing in F-18 crash in San Diego (Right by where I was looking for houses). Pilot was on one engine for almost 100 mi |
