(?) India breaking why is Disneyland (?) today. http://tinyurl.com/78f3gf
Gave a presentation in Econ today; was engaging enough that I even managed to hold the attention of one of the druggies—Best compliment ever...
@jomanscool2 5 days until …? christmas break?
I want arbitrary metadata and stackable metadata queries on my files—filenames suck. More data always beats better algorithms.
"8-bit Jesus", chiptunes christmas music: http://tinyurl.com/55rdwl (via BoingBoing's excellent new video games blog, Offworld.)
The difficulty in organizing classical music is that artist and album are more-or-less orthogonal to composer and work.
Does anyone have Wagner's Ring Cycle on DVD that I can borrow?
Even more delicious: bacon + avocado. Mmmm… ;-)
Next time you make fried chicken breast, fry an egg on top of it. (Delicious.)
The fog is incredible.
This Black Friday, I've only found one thing that I actually want that's on sale. And it's... not very on sale.

A PARABOLA: the ballistic trajectory, imposed by gravity without appeal; a symbol of the inevitable determinism of fate. Gravity's rainbow.
SSDs have crazy-fast random seeks. Perhaps in an SSD future we will have more hash-tables-as-files and less sequential text? (not an expert)
@ericharmatz No I thought you might have a pic since you're a news junkie. I'm sure you're an excellent driver. ;-)
does anyone have a pic of http://tinyurl.com/5g4657 ? (perhaps @ericharmatz ?)
