@jamescridland Yes, I've played briefly with RadioPop. My scenarios are around spoken word podcasts/Listen Again, so not yet well supported.
Dreamweaver is one of the most frustrating apps ever: bloated/unstable/almost unusable. I'm sorry about the redundancies, but not for Adobe.
@jonathanmarks I am most keen on radio recommendation too. It is a very complex set of interactions to design around, so not very hopeful!
BBC iPlayer Labs testing recommendation system partly based on collaborative filtering. Do sign up to Labs http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplaye...
@billt The Internet Watch Foundation has always been an insidious outfit. A creator of 'unknown unknowns' treating people as incompetents.
@photourbanist My vote was for one of the least popular (Israeli soldier beating a Jewish settler), which I guess was on news impact too
MSNBC's Week in Pictures photoJournalism feature, with voting, is an exemplary use of the Web for news http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id...
Anniversary conference and event taking place in CA this week re Doug Engelbart and the 1968 'Demo' http://www.sri.com/engelbar...
Great lastminute.com Labs natural language search: 'flight to NYC for the rest of my life soon from London' http://pronto.lastminute.com/
@innovationedge Q: If the problem is in the financial sector, why do we need more innovation? If it is in industry, what is its character?
Watching NESTA Innovation in an Economic Downturn talk/panel with Lord Drayson, Minister of State for Science and Innovation @innovationedge
Back in the Wax Museum: good Archive Hour #radio4 on Studs Terkel http://tinyurl.com/5qez7h Will be adding Depression book to Wish List.
Do I hate the 'Do I have a view on my banal statement' construction? Yes, I do. Should interviewees be allowed to get away with using it?...
@freecloud @technokitten IoD 123 is crowded and a bit tawdry. One Alfred Place is great, but fees hard to justify if one didn't visit daily.
At NESTA Policy Breakfast on Public services, leadership and innovation with Ben Page of Ipsos MORI Public http://tinyurl.com/BenPageN...
Nice info design talk this evening by @maxgadney followed by good conversations with younger colleagues: smart, learned an un-pretentious
Looking forward to Max Gadney IDA talk News Information Graphics in 2008 at Design Council this eve http://upcoming.yahoo.com/e...
Have you ever met a genius at an AppleStore Genius Bar? Many lack knowledge/basic logic/user focus. Visits more therapy than problem solving
