illustrations:
"The Art of
Splendor,
Islamic Luxury Goods Captivate Renaissance Italians" by Dr Rosamond E. Mack, author of Bazaar to Piazza: Islamic Trade and Italian Art, 1300-1600. The lecture accompanied with illustrations was held on April 19, 2004 in the James Madison Building of the Library of Congress.
