woot @markcelsor - http://www.booksfree.com/ - NOW we're talking!
ok, if libraries will send me any book, and include a means for me to send it back - ala netflix - then my world is about to change
i'm willing to pay the shipping.
like an inter-library loan system, only instead of sending it to the other library, they send it to me, and I'll send it directly back.
why can't there be a netflix - but for books...
ordered 'Ocean of Sound' by David Toop by way of recommendation by @markcelsor. I can't wait!

@martinbrown already read snow crash - good one though!
what book should i read next?

Flying around architecture islands... almost every square meter holds a memory... a story... a lineage of by-gone builds
reflecting on what a long strange trip Second Life has been. I was supposed to be a real life architect... but one day, I logged in.
omg... found an auction online with an old vinyl of my great grand-father's big-band... I have his old bass, but never heard its sound!
