I've been using EveryMac.com for years, to shop for used Macs on eBay, and I love this new Mac-comparison feature: http://tinyurl.com/6pac9p
Kinda like this!
Just shut down my Facebook account for good. Maybe temporarily, I don't know. Don't want it, don't need it. Superficial & time-consuming.
So what do you think? Can she get comfort in conjecturing these shady agents will have more difficulty in the long run, resumes destroyed?
...while management seems to have given themselves raises due to the firings. "Seems", I say, because it's unclear why her boss gets a bonus
They just layed off a round of people, and my friend has absorbed some roles these former employees inhabited. Yet no raise for my friend...
Yet is it? I ask because it seems they are taking advantage of my friend, who works for the lowest wage in co. yet does the job of several.
...into the ground. Friend is consoled w/thought that they "won't get another job" after their current travesty. Is this true? One can hope.
...who worked for a *relatively* smaller co., less than 100 employees, possibly less than 50. Managers make big bucks yet are driving co....
Which brings to mind: Is it true that the leaders of mismanaged companies will have difficulty finding future employment? I have a friend...
(I'm talking about CEOs, whose greed is only checked once it appears certain they'll be *losing their companies* if they don't accept less.)
But once you're in the position of defending some, uh, "questionable deed", such as the automaker's continued multi-hundredmillion paycheck!
I'm not saying "(all) corporations are evil", though inevitably seems many of them become thus. No, that's too black and white a conclusion.
I'm not a PR person, not by profession, but it must really suck being in a position of spinning evil into good. Kinda like a defense lawyer.
Or will he end up in circumstances similar to Michael Vick, who's served time for his disregard of life? Bad press goes either way, you know
@christinelu The question then becomes, will Burress benefit from shooting himself, getting an even better contract (with another NFL team)?
@christinelu Ask Plaxico Burress if bad press is good, now that it's looking like the New York football (champion)Giants will be trading him
@danklass Wii. Because then *you'll* be able to play, too, and the kid will love that. Beware, though -- it only starts off less expensive!!
Okay all you actors out there, whether SAG-membered or hope to someday be: AMPTP has released their "Final Offer": http://tinyurl.com/5n5jgj
To be more inclusive, I've been following someone who only posts in Chinese characters, but as pretty as they are I simply don't understand.
