I'll send these digital public works Tweets on to change.gov, if Twitterers think it's a good idea, @tom_burkdall . What do you think?
One popular digital public works project from the Twittersource and discussion: widespread broadband. Lots of work to to there.
Working through replies to digital works Twittersource, in awe. Thank you, Twitterii. Good question, @joefromkenyon; did you see replies?
Twittersource question: what kind of digital projects could Obama and the US fund, as public works? Think digital CCC or WPA.
Listening to Cliff Lynch survey 2008 in informatics, after the MATC awards: financial crisis, some projects entering maturity.
Prepping for Educause podcast interview, followed by CNI conference (http://tinyurl.com/5vhkyd). Greetings, @jonmott, other Tweeters.
We landed safely, with enough time for me to enjoy dinner @jimgroom. Thank you for the nice thoughts, @Tresbien, @kassimk.
Landing at Dulles. Reading Jane Mayer, _The Dark Side_.
Plane about to launch into snowstorm. Book in hand, logging off now.
Waiting for delayed flight, while revising presentation and blogging.
Working on presentation materials for my prediction markets talk, CNI next week.
Good point about timing Twittersourcing, @marquibeck. Advance warning *should* increase participation.
Blogging about this week's Twittersourcing library issues experiment: http://b2e.nitle.org/index.php. @CarlBergerSr.
Being in awe of the library-issues Tweets from yesterday's crowdsourcing experiment. Reflecting on process.
What are the most important emerging technologies, or issues, for American libraries, going into 2009? Summoning Twittersource!
Have driven through snow flurries, cold, and traffic to Schenectady. Revising plans for tomorrow's librarian gathering.
That was a fascinating post, @jcollier. Can you say a bit more about your group's futurism methods?
The patience of sf fan library patrons with librarian non-fans is a good question, @mschlat. I suspect one outcome is avoidance.
For bread recipes, I strongly recommend Clayton's big book, and James Beard,@clioweb . Maybe I should blog my notes, with pix.
Hope you feel better, @jimgroom. Maybe you should switch from _Return of_ to _I Walked With a Zombie_?
