An hour spent watching random city council meetings on YouTube. Waaaaaay more entertaining than you'd think. Some real gems in there.
@donohoe - In that case I'll cease working on " The Best 50 Donohoe Tweets"
After a weekend of Zombie video games, I'm oddly distracted by my nerdy coworker's plump heads full of delicious developer brains. Weird.
@xenograg Doh! I guess I'll just suffer through this round of opera songs. Just waiting for some Neil Diamond now. Thanks anyway.
@xenograg Can I join the forum chat via Phone? At a weird Kareoke joint and could use the distraction.
Walking through times square at 5pm. There seems to be some kind of Nascar event. What was I thinking?
@khoi Was Pictionary a birthday present to yourself?
As i stand in the airport taxi line, 3 cab drivers get out of their cars to scream and threaten each other, and I know I'm finally home.
Venting via Twitter and getting responses has definetly helped quell my random bursts of rage. Thanks.
Holy Crap! Got on a stand by flight!! I get to go home!
Coworkers: Just because I'm never going to make it back to NY doesn't mean my desk or its contents are up for grabs. Think booby traps.
2 undersold (canceled) and 2 overbooked flights to NY today. I've never seen such a large and angry group. How does United stay in business?
Wow. Flight canceled, despite 60 people on standby, because there were 18 unsold seats. Now standbys at 110. I'm confirmed for a 6pm flight.
Forgot all you NY folks were awake. I'm in Denver. Thanks for the link Donhoe. A good read for the endless lines ahead of me.
Holy hell. What is wrong with United!! I payed your extra 300 to go home. You can't cancel my flight!!!
New day. Time for round two. Nobody gets me out of bed this early two days in a row and lives to tell the tale.
7 hours later: I'm told I can pay $300 for a flight tomorrow or fly standby on Thursday. United just sent 100 poor souls into a fit of rage
6.5 hours and going. I've resorted to bothering friends on GTalk via phone for entertainment while I wait in line to get on a flight.
4.5 hours of standing in lines has made me consider doing it professionally. Not sure if I'm making it to New York today.
Despite Denver Internationals best attempts, my flight has left the ground. I'm guessing with my bag. Let's see where this goes.
