(August 4, 2006) Downtown, Los Angeles - Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard (CA-34) congratulates Marvin Benitez of Boyle Heights upon completing an internship in her district office this summer. While working in the congresswoman's office, Marvin performed a wide variety of tasks, such as drafting letters, data entry, research and basic clerical duties. He also accompanied field staff to briefings and events throughout the 34th Congressional District. Marvin is a graduate of James A. Garfield High School in East Los Angeles and Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. About his experience in the congresswoman's office, Marvin said: "I learned so much about our government and how the congresswoman and her staff work with different agencies to provide the best possible assistance to her constituents."
