Downtown, Los Angeles - Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard presents John Suh, President of the Korean American Economic Development Center (KAEDC), with a Certificate of Recognition at a gala banquet kicking off the First Annual Korean American Economic Development Conference at the Wilshire Grand Hotel.  The gala was sponsored by the KAEDC, which was established in Los Angeles in 2002 to promote Korean American business networks, better relationships between Korean American businesses and surrounding communities, and to stimulate the regional economy. During the congresswoman's remarks, she praised the successful Korean American entrepreneurs for their fortitude and encouraged them to work closely with government officials to help their businesses to grow and prosper.
