Improved my gov't blogging training thx to @juliandarley and others. Will record accompanying talk next time: http://twurl.nl/8zblnc
@agahran @brianboyer I was surprised at 40 CFR request, but he's an environmental compliance officer for MIT - needs references on-site.
@agahran @briaboyer Agreed: no shovelware on mobile sites. 40 CFR was specifically requested by a commenter w/explanation of his need.
My 1-hour webinar re: gov't blogging, now on slideshare (first thing I've ever posted there). Help me improve it? http://twurl.nl/pdncw0
@juliandarley Thanks for all the retweets and mentions, and esp. for retweeting @greenversations
@wattzon In my Prius, 20-mile or so runs ... @67mph, 54 mpg. @72mph, 49mpg. Pretty much lose 1mpg/1mph. But @62mph, also 54mpg.
@bublynski No prob. I was probably taking too much airtime. :) I did send @scifri an email offering to connect 'em to fed web mgrs
RT @scifri vid this week: alcohol in the eggnog. will it protect against food poisoning? http://is.gd/cz9y (If only EPA could do this stuff)
RT @rohitbhargava New blog post: The 5 Stages Of Twitter Acceptance - http://twurl.nl/hdtyhv What stage are you in?
@lmaepa You lookin' for me?
@apriledmonds From what I've read and learned, don't try to connect it all. Instead, participate in each according to its own culture.
@azjewelrydesign Thanks for listening and saying hello. :)
@ladykeli Hi there. :) Are you a member of the gov't Web Mgrs Forum? Join us! http://www.webcontent.gov
Anybody know of a plain text, mobile-easy version of the Code of Federal Regulations?
@agahran @brianboyer Hey, how about the CFR? Or even just 40CFR (EPA's title)? We were asked for it on our mobile site, but we need txt.
@ariherzog Thanks! @fritinancy led me to @craigstolz, so now I have two new folks to follow.
Man, am I glad I enjoy learning about words. Thanks, @cheeky_geeky for the reference! http://tinyurl.com/4zjder
Musing over @chrisbrogan's concept of cafe-shaped business and how we as a federal agency can do the same thing when so many vandals exist.
@timoreilly Really liked what you said on NPR re: dipping in the stream when you want. That's how I use Twitter, mostly: a filter.
