@doctor_s not shutdown, just temporarily off the air. service will be fully restored and your old blogrolls are being served while we recode

keep in mind that "soon" is still measured in days. we're doing a complete rewrite and our guys are good, but they aren't magicians.

!w00t! saw the first build of BR2 today. Very happy how quickly its going! Blogrolling will be back soon!

@bigdumptruck ping is only available via API. Most blog software pings us automagically. The manual ping form is still not available.

@patrickd88 Its not likely that editing will be back before BR2Beta is released.

@patrickd88 the updates are long overdue and a total rewrite is really the only way that we can continue to offer the service securely...
