@jsb16 See the second most recent post on http://teach42.com for details!
@meanollibrarian Hmm.... dont' see why not. I'll bring it up.
@jorech I'd say subscribe to a few blogs, icnluding the National, check out the webinar schedule, and plan your first event!
@nycrian The site itself is ShoutEm.com. It allows you to create your own Twitter. So I created Tweach42 as an example!
Anyone know of any marketing jobs in the Chicago area? I got a kick ass candidate/wife who just found out she's going to be needing one...
Discovery Education's You Tube channel is live! Check it out: http://tinyurl.com/DiscEduTube
@brainopera Without a doubt. And while Pro is pricey, they've got the features to back it up. Just not something most educators will go for
@riptidef Sure am. Sent an email off right away.
Mogulus announces HD quality, widescreen channels, pro accounts... and that ads are now mandatory on free version. MAJOR bummer.
@elemenous re: Adora Svitak. Yeah, we had her do a webinar for Discovery Education. You can email me if you want to know more ;)
@hodgman So how's Polio treating you?
@elemitrt @digitalmaverick Glogster has an EDU version now that should prevent being able to see 'other things'
@audhilly I don't really expect it to be a 'thriving community' per se, but will use for demonstration purposes.
@audhilly http://tinyurl.com/tweach42 is just an example of how people can create their own niche microblog service using ShoutEm.
@thehotiron Yeah, going to Milwaukee and then swinging down here. Can't remember when tho.
@jepcke Ch. 3, but I just saw that it won't actually start until Dec. 21st and runs for all 8 days.
@nycrian2 They've been in private beta for a while, they just sent me an invite code this morning and... let's just say I shared it :)
WOW. Sirius Satellite Radio has a Hannukah station! Methinks I'm going to hear Adam Sandlers Hannukah song an awful lot.
@kchichester Excellent! Now I expect you to visit it at least 3 times per day :)
