Proper version of my wee game released (ie standalone and does not need .net). See www.retrodaddy.co.uk
@jonathancoulton Yay! That's Christmas sorted then. My kids will love that... Although it would be more manly to use a big assed knife.
@Filmstalker Port XYEnemy to something not Microsoft reliant, remake Vortex with better style and I have an idea for an explode-em-up!
Finishing my new game. Preview video here: http://www.vimeo.com/2475787
Feeling the urge to try some new coding whilst using really old tech. From experience I know this will pass
I went to get a banana and ended up with a pear. Very minor fail..
Looking forward to weekend food and drink before marathon training begins next week.
@sunpig Cut a hole in it and hey presto - instant Poncho Christmas pressie for wife/daughter.
Stop with the snow already. I hate running when it is slippy underfoot.
@Filmstalker Its not over yet. I'll be begging for pizza at yours come the end of November. Maybe a wee nip as well. Do I need to dress up?
@Filmstalker Yeah, but the Master got round his regeneration limit. I've no doubt that an explanation will be given as a throw-away line.
Really enjoyed Burn After Reading last night. But it would be cheaper buying it on BluRay than 2 tickets + popcorn at the cinema!
@sunpig Would you kindly turn left?
Playing the Little Big Planet beta on PS3. Utterly charming, very British and a hell of a lot of fun.
@Filmstalker Sat 29th Nov sounds good to me. A place to crash would be appreciated.
@Filmstalker Take it at contractor's rates? ;-)
@sunpig Pizza sounds cool in November. Although the mere thought of it this morning is giving me the dry boke.
@Filmstalker Cheers mate. I tried to have some beer last night as celebration but had to go to bed instead!
Finished the Loch Ness Marathon in 3hrs 34 mins. Beat my previous best by 30 minutes. Very pleased but very very tired.
Bags packed and ready to go. Looks like we will be running into the wind tomorrow but I'm itching to start :) Hopefully see Nessie en route!
