@defunkt vim+git is much more awesome.
Hey CupcakeCampers in SF: I found that there's actually a shop specialising in cupcakes just round corner from my college in London. Win.
Urgh. Reading RDF/XML. Wishing I had cwm on this machine.
The combination of reading metaphysics and working on SemWeb leads to interesting dreams: an OWL class for nonexistent objects anybody?
@cazm { :cazm a foaf:Person; :dislikes :triples. } I need to add more random punctuation really.
I'm wondering how much mental illness the SemWeb community could cause if it tweeted for a week in only N3 (inc. cwm rules)?
@oxfordben Rails on JRuby? Django on Jython? :)
@oxfordben like the idea of foaf:Agent being able to issue RTFM imperatives towards other agents. Thinking whole group wanting some1 to RTFM
Left a bag full of books on the train yesterday. Apparently, it may take until Tuesday for them to *drive* it back to London. Carbon fail!
You know what's stupid: if you lose something on a train in the south-east, they transport it back to the lost property office by road.
@elliottcable Kernite in 0.7 systems? Crafty Amarrian bastards. I've got a secret place in high-sec I can go to do ice mining.
@oxfordben surely, more like { :a a Person; wishes { [] a RTFMImperative; subject :b; doc :c . } . } ?
Oh man, it sucks so much that I'm not the first person to use the phrase "Carl Sagan on PCP".
@kevinprince The same day when they start using strong encryption, sign their mail, stop top posting and RTFM.
I'm not paying $25 for "24-hour online access". Urgh. Journal publishers need to get real. I can go downstairs and photocopy it for less.
The journal I'm looking for has online archives from 1999 onwards. Great. Except I need a paper from 1977.
I'm so in love with JSTOR. I just wish it was open and free so everybody could enjoy it.
@cazm I have an Ubuntu 8.04 USB stick which works - you can use that to setup, then do a command-line upgrade.
@cazm Are you in London next Saturday for BBC party? If so, come in earlier and I'll help you wreck your computer. Heheh.
@annwitbrock True, but the nice thing about the degree I'm on: essays are all practice for the exam. Multiple opportunities to fail & learn.
