Professional Highlights |
• In the area of Quality, during the course of the past year, I have assisted several FHWA Division Offices in the completion of their organizational baseline quality assessments using the President´s Quality Award criteria.
• I have completed the FHWA training courses on the Baldrige criteria and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI). I plan to complete the CPI Train-the-Trainer course the end of May 2000.
• My present position also includes responsibilities in the area of Strategic and Performance Planning.
• I am available to assist organizational units in developing strategic and performance plans which meet the requirements of the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA).
• In the Personnel area, my EXPERTISE includes over 18 years of experience providing advice and assistance to management and employees in the interpretation and application of personnel policies, rules, regulations, and best practices.
• This includes training and development, recruitment, staffing, position design and classification, emplo yee/labor relations and benefits.
• In this capacity, I have developed functional statements and position descriptions for new organizational units and conducted reviews of existing organizations.
