Information for International Buyers on FAS Export Guarantee Programs
In many countries, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) export credit guarantee programs can help make commercial financing available for imports of U.S. food and agricultural products on deferred payment terms.

Brochure - "What Every Importer Should Know About the Export Credit Guarantee Programs":

This brochure provides answers to commonly asked questions about how to participate in USDA's export credit guarantee programs (GSM-102, GSM-103 and Supplier Credit Guarantee programs). These programs make commercial financing available for imports of U.S. food and agricultural products where financing may otherwise be unavailable. Importers may receive lower interest rates, lower financing terms, and/or increased lines of credit due to the reduction of risk to U.S. exporters and financial institutions.
