Our data are from various data systems. Some of these data systems, such as National Vital Statistics System collect new data every year, while others such as the National Nursing Home Survey collect data only every few years.
After the data become available we summarize the data by selected health indicators, year, age group, sex, and race-Hispanic origin and compute measures of sampling error. In addition, we write explanatory messages. Then the data and explanatory messages are combined in the Beyond 20/20 tables.
Go to the web-site of the data system for the table with data you are interested in. You will find the web address in the summary information for the table or from Data Sources.
