President-elect Barack Obama will be sworn in during the 56th Presidential Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony on January 20, 2009 in Washington, DC. Each Member of Congress is allotted a limited number of tickets to distribute to their constituents. Because demand far exceeded the number of available tickets, a lottery will be held for those who submitted requests prior to November 11. Please note: No tickets are guaranteed at this point. Due to overwhelming interest in the Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony, unfortunately, my office is no longer taking additional ticket requests. Senator Boxer and Senator Feinstein are still accepting requests, however. To accommodate those who have not yet applied for tickets, I have reserved a limited number of additional tickets to the inauguration. If you haven't sent in a request yet, here's what you can do:
