To assist States and communities, this site brings together information and key resources for emergency preparedness, disaster response, and recovery that relate specifically to child care.

ALERT

FEMA has announced that a major disaster has been declared in California and ordered federal aid to assist those residents and businesses affected by the recent wildfires. President Bush has declared federal emergency aid available to affected individuals in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Santa Barbara counties.
