There is tremendous excitement surrounding the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama on January 20, 2008 in Washington, DC and my office has a limited number of tickets to the 56th Inaugural Ceremonies that will be distributed free of charge. To make a request, you must call my Washington, D.C. office at 202-225-5506 by 12:00 noon on December 5, 2008. No more than four tickets per person can be requested. Due to incredibly high demand, the distribution of tickets will be done through a lottery. Winners of the lottery will be notified via email by December 19, 2008 and must pick up their tickets in person at my Capitol Hill office on Monday, January 19, 2008. If you do not pick up your tickets on this day, you will forfeit them. No exceptions to these rules will be made.
