Speaker Biography: Before becoming editor of the The Washington Post "Book World," Marie Arana had a long career in book publishing as vice president and senior editor at both Simon & Schuster and Harcourt Brace. She recently published her first book, "An American Chica: Two Worlds, One Childhood." In this memoir, Arana recounts her family history in the United States and Peru, building a bridge between the two cultures.
