Going back home after helping my mother with her art fair presentation and having cheese fondue.
At an art fair. Average age dropped 10 years when I entered. Lots of minor 17th century masters, and even genuine Rembrandt etchings.
@madrobby I couldn't tell you, I run Windows.
Found a difference between IE7 and IE8-as-IE7. Investigating.
And it's snowing! Nice surprise. Snow makes me happy.
Taking a break from my interminable writng about Dutch politics to get some pizza.
Now in pub; eating HUGE sorbet ice cream.
Wrote about Dutch politics all week; and wrote a very nice graph- and map-creation script. See Quirksmode.org/politicsnew for preview.
@ded Or we create a club of RE Evaders. I'm in!
Watership elections are the origin of Dutch democracy. They are also excruciatingly boring.
Wow, I seem to have gotten a lot of followers this past week. Welcome, all. Don't expect every Tweet to be about webdev.
Oh, OK, one more beer.
@mollydotcom Why don't I have to bribe you?! I demand the right to bribe you!
O Christ, we've got a singer-songwriter performing live. He's just as depression-inducing as all the others.
@mollydotcom Only if you name me Special Advisor for Compatibility Problems.
@Malarkey Well, put it at the top of the page. See it as a <tfoot> if that helps you. But I see your point.
@Malarkey You could see footer as a functional area. You know, where the Contact and Disclaimer and such are placed.
@mollydotcom Don't know, I'm a religious Eudora user. But isn't it time for these people to ... you know ... move on?
@mollydotcom Glk! Poor developers. And NN4 as a browser was definitely less stable than IE4. I remember those days distinctly.
@mollydotcom There were a few bugs in NN4, but we could have used it. Why didn't we? One answer: everybody associated it with DHTML.
