Tenth District Congressman Payne announced today that the 10th Congressional district has received a $ 1.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to improve a Newark Liberty International Airport access road.
The Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration agency is awarding the grant to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The grant will be used for the first phase of repairing Brewster Road, which serves as an access road for Newark Liberty International Airport.
Payne said, “This funding will allow us to build on the progress we have made to date. I will continue to work with the Department of Transportation to ensure that our roads are improved and maintained.”
