Summary

GAO reviewed the Department of the Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service's new rule on migratory birds on certain Indian reservations. GAO found that (1) the rule would prescribe special late season migratory bird hunting regulations for certain tribes on federal Indian reservations, off-reservation trust lands, and ceded lands; and (2) the Fish and Wildlife Service complied with all applicable regulations in promulgating the rule.
