Redhawks to Face Huskies in March
One of the great Northwest sports rivalries resumes March 3 when Seattle University's men's basketball team plays the UW Huskies at Hec Edmundson Pavilion, a full year earlier than originally scheduled. The matchup—the first between the schools since 1979—will replace games cancelled because of the December snowstorms. Tickets to the general public can be purchased through the Huskies ticket office at (206) 543-2200.

Art in Focus
The Kinsey Gallery presents Siena, a photography exhibit featuring images shot by 19 Seattle University students during their study abroad in Siena, Italy, last summer. The show runs through Feb. 6. Art lovers, there's more: Through March 21 the Hedreen Gallery will showcase a new piece by New York artist Adam Putnam as part of its "Void Blank Blank" series.

All Hands In
Women's Basketball is on a roll heading into back-to-back games Jan. 17-18 in Puerto Rico, all leading up to the team's first home game as a Division I program playing a D-I school. The team takes an 8-7 record into its matchup with the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras and University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon. On Jan. 24 the ladies return home to play Southern Illinois-Edwardsville at Connolly Center. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m.

Freshman Emma Sauvage finds a spot on the second floor of the Administration Building to get a little reading in before her humanities class on Jan. 13. This is the second week of winter quarter classes for undergrad and grad students and the first week back for School of Law students.
World Class Debaters
Seattle University students James Kilcup, left, and Michael Imeson made an impressive showing at the World Universities Debating Championships in Cork, Ireland, that ended Jan. 3. In competition involving more than 300 teams from around the world, Kilcup and Imeson finished 9th.
