Congress has appropriated the 2008 Salmon Disaster Funds. Application forms have been mailed to ocean fishermen, processors, wholesalers, charterboat owners and Sacramento In-River Salmon Guides based on information provided to PSMFC by the California Department of Fish and Game, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Businesses affected by the closure can download the following application forms or contact the listed Salmon Disaster Relief information hot lines. All applicants must be licensed permit holders or have purchased a business license or permit in 2007.
Applications will be processed as they are received. Applications for Disaster Relief and a W-9 form must be completed, signed and postmarked by December 31, 2008 to PSMFC.
