Bringing Regulated Plants, Fruits and Vegetables into California
Some of the important agricultural pests of concern to California are listed below, along with the states where they are known to occur as well as the plants, fruits and vegetables upon which they feed. Since not all pests of concern are listed below, you may access the Plant Quarantine Manual for more detailed information. Before you bring any of the regulated items mentioned below, you should first determine if they meet California's entry requirements. To do this, you can check with your current state's department of agriculture or contact us via e-mail at Pest Exclusion Info or by phone (916-654-0312). And to help us better answer your questions, please indicate the state where the material was grown or produced.
The entry into California of the Plants, Fruits and
Vegetables listed below is regulated if they come from the States
listed in the second column to the right, since there is
a risk that these items may carry (act as hosts of) Quarantine
Plant Pests (which are listed in the last column on the
right)
|
The
States listed below are known to have infestations
within their borders of the Quarantine Plant Pests
named in the last column to the right. The entry
into California of host Plants, Fruits, and Vegetables
from these states is regulated.
