O’Fallon Freshman Wins Congressional Art Competition

Washington, DC – Vivian Farmer, Freshman at Christian High School in O’Fallon won first place in the Second District’s Congressional Art Competition.

Her Batik entitled "Evening Commute" will be hung in the tunnel between the United States House Office buildings and the United States Capitol.

Ms. Farmer will attend a ceremony June 25th recognizing the winning art students from around the country. Southwest Airlines provided the first place winner with a round-trip ticket to DC for the ceremony.
