Overview
Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In 2010 IPFW will undergo the continuing accreditation process as part of the commission's ten-year cycle of review.
During that process the university will conduct a comprehensive self-study that will evaluate the following:
- Formal educational activities
- Governance and administration
- Financial stability
- Admissions and student services
- Resources
- Student academic achievement
- Organizational effectiveness, and
- Relationships with outside constituencies.
The self-study will be conducted from fall 2008 to spring 2010 and will be followed by a comprehensive visit by an NCA-HLC review team.
