Schedule a Tour of the U.S. Capitol Building
Constituents planning a trip to Washington D.C. may schedule a tour of the U.S. Capitol building. Please submit your tour request at least four (4) weeks in advance because tour space fills up quickly, particularly during holiday seasons and school vacations. Let us know when you would like to schedule the tour and how many visitors will be in your group. Jared Cohen takes care of all tour arrangements for Congressman Capuano's office. The White House has resumed tours on a limited basis. If you are planning a trip to Washington D.C., and would like to visit the White House, please give Jared Cohen a call at least 4-6 weeks in advance. Our office has access to a very limited number of slots for White House tours but the spaces fill up quickly. Please give the office a call as soon as you finalize your travel plans and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that due to the limited availability of tours, we will not be able to accommodate all requests.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing offers tours to the general public Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM. All tours must be reserved by calling 202-874-2330 and may be made up to 1 week in advance. Tours for school groups are limited to 25 people and are available from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Please call to arrange a time slot. Our office can help arrange a Congressional Tour, limited to 10 people and held at 8:15 am or 8:45 am. Please call Heather Gasper at least a month ahead of time to arrange a tour of the BEP. The Supreme Court is open to the public for tours Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, except when the court is in session. It is closed in August. We can help arrange a Congressional tour for up to 4 people. These tours are offered at 2 pm daily and include a courtroom lecture. Congressional tours are available on a limited number of dates.
