The final bell tolled this week for the Little Red Schoolhouse as it is being knocked down to make way for a private development.

After a long wait we are about to get a new high school. A significant number of new schools built recently in Massachusetts have had construction problems due to poor or inadequate construction inspection.

Dedham cops help crack credit case

Wellesley and Dedham Police officers arrested John Hickey of 7 Thoreau Center, Natick, on May 6 in Chelsea. He faces charges of identity fraud, receiving a stolen credit card to obtain goods over $250 and posing without the authority of the cardholder to obtain goods over $250.
