To protect roadway safety, the Nevada Department of Transportation is pleased to offer Freeway Service Patrol service in Las Vegas and Reno.
Customized Freeway Service Patrol vans patrol continuous routes and provide FREE assistance to disabled vehicles, lost, sick or injured motorists, pedestrians and certain other incidents such as animals on the roadway, travel lane or shoulder debris, accident scenes, vehicle fires and fuel leaks.
To best respond to vital roadway incidents, the Freeway Service Patrol is not available on-call, but will stop on their regular route to provide needed assistance. Dial *NHP (*647) to report drunk drivers, traffic crashes, stranded or disabled motorists, or any suspicious roadside incidents to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
