Nevada motorists typically attend traffic safety school for one of two reasons:

• as part of a plea bargain agreement with a court of law, or
• voluntarily to reduce the number of points on their driving record.

No point reductions are given for courses completed as part of a plea bargain. 

Motorists may take only one voluntary traffic safety course for point reduction within a 12-month period. See Demerit Points for more information.

Schools are required to report your completion of a course to the DMV. There is no need to contact us directly.

The DMV licenses and monitors schools but does not regulate pricing or schedules. These listings are provided as a courtesy to the public. The DMV does not rate, endorse or recommend schools.
