2008 License Renewal

Welcome! The Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists is pleased to offer this online service, which will enable you to make changes or updates to your personal information, including Continuing Professional Education and your Professional Will Information at any time during the year.

Steps to Renew your License

Step 1   Login
Use the 'License Renewal Login' link on the left side of the screen.
Login using your license number.
Your temporary password is the last 4 digits of your social security number.
You will be prompted to reset your password.
Step 2   Answer Security Questions
Please answer your two security questions at this time.
Step 3   Review Personal Contact Information
Make any updates or changes to your personal information. The Board would like to use email as a way of communicating information and reminders to all licensed psychologists, so please keep your email address current.
Step 4   Enter Continuing Professional Education
Continuing Professional Education must be submitted online. The last date to complete CPE's without paying an extension fee is September 30th. Continuing Professional Education must be submitted by November 1st to avoid a late fee. Any questions regarding CPE's may be emailed to trose@coxinet.net.
Step 5   Professional Will Information
The Board requires that all licensed Psychologists make an appropriate professional arrangement for the ethical disposition of records by December 31, 2008. You may provide your professional will information online and make changes at any time. Any questions regarding the Professional Will may be emailed to trose@coxinet.net.
Step 6   Pay Renewal Fee - One of Two Options
1)  Pay $400.00 renewal fee online no later than December 31, 2008.
    (please note there is a convenience fee for making payment online)

or

2)  Mail $400.00 renewal fee to the Board office no later than December 31, 2008.

****Please note that your license to practice psychology will be invalid as of January 1, 2009, if you do not fulfill the requirements above*****

You are urged to review Section 575:10-1-5(b)(1)(2)(3) of the Rules of the Board regarding licensure status. The following information, based upon that Section, is provided for your convenience.

If you wish to place your license on inactive status, please submit a written request to the Board office, accompanied by a one-time fee of $25.00, by December 31, 2008. It is a psychologist's responsibility to keep the board informed of his or her current address during the time that a license is on inactive status.
