Summary

GAO reviewed the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) new rule on occupational injury and illness recording and reporting requirements. GAO noted that (1) the rule would revise the recording and reporting of occupational injuries and illnesses including the forms employers use to record those injuries and illnesses and (2) OSHA complied with applicable requirements in promulgating the rule.
