Society, Daughters of the American Revolution: Card file

Index to Blacks, Indians, Chinese, Mulattoes in the 1880
Census: Card file index arranged alphabetically by name;
gives county, township, and microfilm census page number. Also

Index to Indiana Enrollments of Soldiers, Their Widows, and
Orphans 1886, 1890, 1894: Formerly available as a card
file index from the original enrollment books in the State
Archives; only the 1886 listings are indexed; an 1890 or 1894 book
was substituted for a missing 1886 listing; alphabetically
arranged by name; gives year of enrollment list, county, township
of residence. Now available in book form, in the

Indiana Bible Records Index, compiled by the Indiana
DAR: Card file index to the various Bible and family
record books submitted annually by the Indiana DAR; copies of
these books are also in the Genealogy Division. In the

information about Indiana people from books and magazines
published
since 1990; also a card file index with hundreds of thousands

Newspaper Holdings Guide by County: The county newspaper
holdings are under regular revision, as new microfilm holdings are
added. These files are not up to date; there are continuous
updates and corrections.

articles from 1848-1888 Indianapolis daily newspapers;
heavily focused on deaths and marriages. Select
articles from 1898-1991 about people, places, events, and topics
in Indianapolis and the state of Indiana. Extremely limited for
deaths; no coverage of marriages. Card file also available

INSPIRE: Indiana's
virtual library, available on the Internet to anyone within the
State of Indiana. It includes full-text articles from
magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, and more, as well as
biographical research sources, and links to catalogs from
Indiana's largest libraries.

County (Indianapolis) Death Index:
Indianapolis Commercial Newspaper Death Index from 1925 to
