Colorado’s labor market
displayed continued signs of softening in November. The State’s seasonally adjusted
unemployment rate edged upward one-tenth of a percentage point to 5.8 percent,
according to Donald J. Mares, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of
Labor and Employment. “Although the
unemployment rate was little changed over the month, wage and salary employment
declined for the third consecutive month, something not seen in Colorado since early
