School Recognition

Nevada has high achievement expectations for its students as indicated through its state standards and aligned assessments. The Nevada Department of Education has a number of ways that it recognizes schools that have demonstrated success in meeting these expectations. Although the schools listed below were identified by a variety of different selection criteria, improving teacher instruction and student learning is the common thread.
