Film student's wit and personality earn him early notice on mtvU
Nick Andrews is a Montana State University sophomore who knows where he is going.

That is not just because Andrews drove across the country recently, piloting a Ford hybrid 3,300 miles as a member of the mtvU's College 500 reality show. Recreational Sports and Fitness is proud to present two classes focusing on the mind body connection to MSU Students.

Qigong
Pronounced “chee gung,” is an ancient Chinese art and science that teaches the skill (gong) of gathering, refining, and circulating the body’s life energy (qi) through a coordinated system of exercise, breathing, and meditation. Qigong has three interconnected aspects: spiritual, sports, and healing.

Tai Chi
Combines slow, fluid movements, breathing and mental concentration to promote relaxation, balance, coordination and flexibility. The movements and postures will develop a better body structure and more energy in the body.

Pre-registration required for classes on Tai Chi and Qigong. Class size is limited. Additional fee required. Inquire at Rec. Sports Office. These classes begin the week of Jan. 27.
